The Venice drawer bed base is the perfect piece to create that grand hotel look in your bedroom. A stud detail border and exquisite tailoring create timeless sophistication.
- The bedhead slides into the back of the base or can be freestanding.
- Stud detail inset 10cm from border.
- The bedhead height is 120 cm, including the legs and the top of the bedhead. Additional height to 130 cm or 140 cm is available upon request; please call or email.
- Under-bed storage drawers are available in several configurations.
- Solid timber construction with timber slats. The distance between each slat is 7 cm, and each slat is a solid 2 cm thick and 7 cm wide. Slats do not move and are covered in a non-slip fabric.
- Wooden legs with a height of 7 cm. Three colour options: walnut, clear, or black. Legs come attached and screwed into place.
- Solid 1.8 cm base on drawers, screwed and glued. No flimsy ply with staples here! Strong enough to hold up to 70 kg.
- Easy-to-open and close finger-pull drawers. With full extension metal runners on drawers.
- Single and King Single comes in two pieces: a bedhead and drawer base.
- Double, queen, and king come in three pieces: a bedhead x 1 piece and the drawer base section x 2 pieces.
- Bedhead depth is approximately 10 cm.
- Our upholstered ranges are handmade and please note our dimensions may have a small variation of 1-2 cm.

FABRIC CARE
- Dust using a slightly damp microfibre cloth.
- Vacuum regularly with an upholstery attachment.
- Treat stains promptly. Always test cleaning solutions on a hidden area.
- Avoid over-wetting to prevent marks or damage.
- Use mild soap (e.g., Lux Flakes or Softly) and blot dry with a towel. Use a hairdryer from center outward.
- Clean full fabric panels instead of spot-cleaning to avoid inconsistencies.

- Can I change the position of the drawers?
- Yes! Drawer bases are available in multiple configurations. Singles and King Singles come with 1–2 drawers depending on the style. Double, Queen, and King come with 2–4 drawers. All styles are priced equally.
- Why don’t the drawers have handles?
- We use finger pull drawers for a minimalist look and deeper storage. No handles needed.
- What if I don't want to see the legs?
- Recessed leg options are available to reduce visibility. A small additional charge applies — please contact us.
- Will my bedside table block the drawers?
- No — drawers are slightly offset from the top to ensure they open fully, even with a bedside table in place.
- Can I buy the base without the bedhead?
- Yes! All bases are available with or without a bedhead. Bedheads are fully compatible across styles.
- Is assembly required?
- Very minor. Slide the arms of the bedhead into the base — that’s it!
