Plan for apartment & lift access
A bed that fits the room also needs to reach it. Check door openings, stair turns, hallways, lift doors and lift cabin dimensions before confirming a large bedhead or bed base.
Send clear measurements and photos of any tight access points. Ask about component sizes, split-base options and the delivery route. A split base can help in some situations, but the bedhead and other components still need to be checked.

Yes. Share an inspiration photo or drawing so we can discuss a suitable design, available finishes and manufacturing feasibility. An image is a starting point; the agreed specification determines what will be made.
Are your custom beds made in Sydney?
Our custom upholstered bed range is made to order in Sydney. Beds on Sale also sells other products, so check the individual listing or quotation for the origin of the specific bed you choose.
Can you make a custom-size bed frame or extra-tall bedhead?
Send the mattress size and proposed dimensions. Non-standard sizes, heights and construction details are assessed individually for practicality, support and delivery access before we confirm availability and price.
Can I choose my own upholstery fabric?
