Fair delivery - what is fair delivery?

We're all about being honest and upfront.  So rather than offer you FREE DELIVERY and hide the cost by hiking our prices, which we thought would be cheeky. We just charge an honest and fair delivery price. No funny business, no inflated prices.

How much do you charge for delivery?

Delivery to Sydney metro areas is $50, this is for delivery into your required room. If you require additional delivery assistance i.e. unpack and setup, numerous flights of stairs or rubbish removed, please specify in the order instructions/comment box at checkout or call us 02 9555 1844 ( a minimal surcharge may apply).

You'll need to prepare for your delivery by providing clear and unobstructed access.  Check out our "Will it fit" to ensure you are ready.

Difficult access deliveries require prior notice and additional personnel may be required.  Please let us know as soon as possible if this is the case. An additional delivery fee may be required.

Our delivery team will at all times be diligent and careful but cannot be responsible for any item/items which cannot or will not be delivered into your residence due to access restriction or size of the item purchased.

Delivery outside of metro areas.

For deliveries outside of Sydney metro areas, please use our shipping calculator (located at our shopping cart - by typing in your address and postcode).  You can also call 02 9555 1844 or email sales@bedsonsale.com.au for a quote.

How long will it take to receive my order?

A BedsonSale we value quality. All our mattresses, storage beds and bases are made to the highest quality standards.  Due to this, delivery times may vary between different products.

We are able to deliver most mattresses and ensemble bases within 5-12 working days of your payment (depending on stock availability).  If you need an item urgently give us a call, we always try to accomodate. Custom made bed heads, storage beds and frames take approximately 4-5 weeks and are then delivered to you ASAP.  Of course we will contact you and keep you updated on the progress of your order.

Delivery days and confirmation

Once we receive your order we will email or call you directly to outline delivery time for your purchase.  The time frame is typically a 2 hour window - Monday to Sunday.

If you have a specific delivery request, please add it into the comments section when you place your order or let us know when we contact you regarding your delivery.

What is an over balcony lift?

An over balcony lift means lifting your order into your property via your balcony.  This method is only used where there is very limited access to your property - tight stairwells, small access ways or tight corners particularly on stair cases or low head height.  Due the added complexity and extra personal required an additional charge is required.  If you need or think you need a balcony lift you must contact us directly prior to your delivery.

Why do you ask questions about access into my residence in regards to delivery?

So we can provide a seamless delivery service there are a few pieces of information our delivery crew require prior to delivery. Some examples: are any steps involved, how wide and tall is your staircase, is parking available outside your residence?

Can I collect/pick up my order?

Absolutely!  You can collect your purchase from our warehouse and in some cases from the store.  If you wish to do so, please call us in advance.

What happens on the day of delivery?

On receipt of your order, we will contact you within 24 hours to schedule a delivery appointment.  The appointment is typically a 2 hour window - Monday to Sunday.  

You will need someone to be home at the delivery address and who can take charge of the item ordered.  Unfortunately if nobody is home you may need to pay an additional fee for the item to be re-delivered. 

Will you assemble my bed?

Yes, not a problem! For a small additional fee our delivery team can unpack and setup your new bed.  Please let us know in advance.

Will you remove my old mattress/bed?

We use two companies for removing your old mattress: Sydney Mattress Recyclers and Soft Landing.  Why do we use either of these companies? Simple, normally mattress disposals go to landfill, these guys recycle the spring units as scrap metal and the remainder is used for pet beddings and carpet underlay. This makes disposal of your mattress as environmentally friendly as possible.
